François Buthiau was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2006. He is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies of Paris (“SciencesPo”) and of the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (DESS/DJCE – Post-graduate degree in business law and tax).
After a first experience in corporate law, François Buthiau specialised in commercial and civil litigation as well as in criminal law (white-collar defence and general criminal law). Accordingly, he primarily worked for Linklaters LLP (corporate law), Holman Fenwick LLP (commercial litigation and arbitration) and Soulez Larivière and Partners (criminal law) before founding the Buthiau & Simoneau law firm.
François Buthiau now mainly advises and represents his clients for any matter related to litigation and pre-litigation.
